Looking Ahead to Fall

On the Air with ETV Electronic Media and Film Studies students receive a well-deserved break during the summer months, but future projects are already in motion. ETV will resume in the fall with a variety of shows and productions for viewers. One of their new projects, produced by students in the Advanced Production course (CTAT 432) is Studio E, a musical variety program that features performances by EMU students. Keep an eye out for two episodes airing this fall.

Switcher!

Because of the generosity of donors and support of the College of Arts and Sciences, the digital switcher is in the process of being installed in Ford Studio. Student staff member Vince Hounshell (left) and our department engineer Steve Martin (right) show the board for the switcher. The switcher should be operational for the start of fall classes.

Additional Updgrades to an Aging Quirk This fall the CMTA family will enjoy a number of important upgrades made to Quirk over the summer months. Improvements include: a hearing loop in both the Quirk and Sponberg Theatres to assist patrons with hearing impairments; an automated exterior door on the south side of Quirk to ease building access; and the entire Quirk roof was replaced.
