Students eligible to enroll in the pre-clinical psychology program will have completed a minimum of 33 hours of approved transfer credit including Introduction to Psychology, two courses in English composition, a minimum of one mathematics course (college algebra or higher level class) and have a minimum transfer grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
Cyber Security Elmhurst College offers an undergraduatelevel certificate program in cyber security, offered entirely online through the Elmhurst College Online Center. The certificate program in cyber security is comprised of five existing courses from the accelerated major in cyber security. Students who complete the five courses for credit will receive the certificate in cyber security, or they may complete an additional five courses, in addition to Elmhurst’s Integrated Curriculum, to earn a bachelor’s degree with an accelerated major in cyber security.
Goals for the Accelerated Major in Pre-Clinical Psychology • Students will understand basic psychological theories and principles. • Students will apply psychological theories to everyday circumstances and social issues. • Students will critically evaluate and express psychological content in written and oral communication. • Students will utilize the scientific method in the design of research studies and recognize appropriate methodology, statistics and interpretation of results. • Students will be able to apply the importance of the ethical and professional practice in the field of psychology.
