A journey through the history of Nant Gwrtheyrn . An opportunity to chat with some of the former residents who lived in this magical village, before it was transformed into a National Language Centre. For the learners amongst you - Language Tasting sessions will be available during the day. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the recent developments at the Nant, and a chance to taste the finest local produce at Caffi Meinir.

Meillionydd archeological excavation open day

Since 2010, Bangor University have been conducting excavations at the Late Bronze - Iron Age double ringwork enclosure of Meillionydd near Rhiw. Come along to see what the archeologists have uncovered over the last 5 years.

Take a leisurely stroll with Plas yn Rhiw gardener from the historic 17th century manor house to the recently renovated Tan yr Ardd and From Deg cottages. One cottage has been renovated to it’s original condition, and the other to a modern 21st century cottage.
