Shakti Sarkin Painting Primal beauty captivates me. Wandering the woods as a child, I discovered hidden gems—sponge mushrooms, blossoms in every color, fuzzy antlers and rocks like hearts. My early exploration translated into using sumptuous paint to reveal the cloaked and overlooked, yet transcendent and natural magic around me, the ‘Shiny Objects’ tucked within ordinary existence. My paintings can often be distilled into the elements of Fire, Water, Earth and Air.
