Welcome! Welkom! For years, we have been known for our doggyrides. People in 48 countries and all walks of life now enjoy bike riding with their dog in a DoggyRide trailer. Some of these adventurous bike riders have even traveled around the globe with our trailer. In 2010 we introduced a trendsetting dog bed line under the brand name DoggySnooze and, in this catalog, we are very excited to introduce a more comprehensive line of unique outdoor and lifestyle products under the brand name Dutch Dog Amsterdam. The DoggyRide product line now offers a complete experience for biking with your dog as we have added a hands-free leash connector, the BuddyTM, and a bike basket, CocoonTM, for the smaller pooches to fit both on the front or the rear of the bike. On top of this, we’ve included a revolutionary concept product that combines both dog exercise and bike riding. For the dog bed line we now make a distinction between outdoor and indoor beds by offering different types of fabrics, such as water repellent nylon for the outdoor beds and micro suede for the indoor beds. We have also introduced another use for the dog bed in the back of SUVs or a Subaru Outback. The bed layer, bolster and frame colors allow you to mix and match your dog bed with your décor and your dog bed can now be configured online or with a downloadable app, available on Apple’s app store. In addition to our dog bike trailers and strollers and our dog beds, we now also offer unique collars and leashes under the brand name Dutch Dog Amsterdam. Our design principles are driven by our passions which include the outdoors, chic design, and sustainable living. We have chosen for our first collection to be inspired by famous contemporary Dutch painters including van Gogh and Mondrian and for it to be made from recycled eco-friendly webbing material. DoggyRide dog bike trailers can easily be attached to a bike so that you can enjoy a leisurely or an adventurous bike ride with your dog. Dogs can be clipped in with an interior safety connector, the front and top mesh panels can either be left zipped closed or unzipped to allow your dog to have a great view of the trails or, pop its head out the top to be the star of trail. For more leisurely bike riders with small dogs weighing under 16 pounds, carrying a dog along for the ride in the sturdy, savvy and stylish Cocoon bike basket can be a fun way for your dog to experience the wind in its hair while enjoying the sites and sounds of the beautiful trails. The Cocoon has an interior safety strap which allows for your dog to stay safely clipped into the basket when biking. Upon arriving at your destination, the Cocoon can be unclasped from the KLICKfix connector to continue to be used as a pet carrier. Please see page 09 for additional information.
Some enthusiastic dogs like to do a lot of running and sometimes you may want to join them on your bike. The Buddy hands-free dog leash connector is a great way to safely connect a dog leash to a bike in an unobtrusive way which won’t scare a dog. Loop the Buddy onto your bicycle frame and go! The Buddy’s bungee material is simple to use and absorbs some of the shock from a pull if your dog becomes a bit too interested in an excited squirrel. Or, if you’re heading out on a longer adventure, loop the Buddy onto your DoggyRide trailer and allow your dog to now enjoy the best of both worlds: riding in the trailer enjoying the view and running along beside you to get some great exercise. As pioneers in dog bike trailers we are ready to take riding with your dog to the next level. The Heeler is an innovative concept product envisioned as a new way for a dog to enjoy the combined benefits of both resting and running while enjoying the outdoors. The benefits of riding in a bike trailer have been seamlessly combined with those of running alongside a bicycle, attached by a Buddy hands-free leash connector. With the Heeler, very active bike riders and their athletic dogs would be able to enjoy exploring the outdoors for even longer periods of time, seeing as, on average, a dog can only run up to 3 to 4 miles before becoming tired and needing to take a break. Attached to the Heeler with a Buddy hands-free leash connector, your dog can run along beside you, keeping pace with your adventure, for as long as it feels comfortable and then hop onto the Heeler for a rest, while you continue enjoying the ride. When a dog is ready for more romping, running and frolicking, it can again hop off the Heeler to continue enjoying the outdoor adventure.

Dog Friendly Outdoor Activities The Buddy hands free leash connector provides you a more comfortable and effective way for both you and your dog to be able to enjoy outdoor activities together such as hiking, biking, jogging and walking. The Buddy, with its simple, looped design, can easily be looped onto your bicycle frame, backpack, belt loops or even stroller, while the other end is clipped to the dog’s leash. This frees up your hands and allows you to focus more directly on your dog and enjoying the outdoors.

Research shows that when we engage in some form of exercise, such as running, hiking, biking, jogging, walking, or other, we tend to feel more relaxed and less anxious. A study from the American College of Sports Medicine showed that just one 30-minute exercise session can already boost your mood and tackle depression. Exercising releases chemicals in the brain which are linked to happiness. Exercising is of course also great for dogs as it can improve dog bone and joint health, heart and lung function, and can help a dog release energy to be more calm at home. Senior Dogs Can Enjoy the Outdoors 10
Dogs, just like humans, experience the trials and tribulations of aging; which for many dogs can begin at the age of seven. Many dogs develop some form of arthritis as they age and it is important to keep our furry friends as comfortable as possible. Large dogs especially may experience more noticeable joint pain and dysplasia of the hips or elbows. Arthritis in dogs most commonly affects the legs, neck and spine. Additionally, with reduced mobility come reduced levels of exercise which can lead to muscle degeneration. Lack of sufficient muscle tone can lead to greater difficulties in the general mobility of your dog.
For these senior dogs, DoggyRide dog strollers can prove to be a great solution with which to comfortably enjoy the outdoors. Large or small dogs can enjoy laying or sitting in the DoggyRide strollers while enjoying the views through one of the many openings that can be zipped open or closed for additional enjoyment. Form follows function This principle is associated with modern architecture and industrial design in which the shape of an object should be primarily based upon its intended function or purpose. Chief Inspirational Officer, product tester, chaser of dog treats and master of making new friends, Menno the smiling Samoyed is a wonderfully fun office mate.
