125 A CHINESE “CINNABAR” LACQUER CUSHION BOX AND COVER, the lid carved with a sage and figures in the shade of a tree sprouting from rockwork on a complex diaper ground and enclosed by key pattern diaper bands, the base also with diaper and key pattern borders, probably Qianlong, 15½cm dia.

Provenance: Acquired from Spink and Son in the 1960’s or 1970's and one box retaining a circular label.
