Lake City Medical Center Welcomes New CEO

Thurs., Sept. 23 at 12:30 p.m., we’ll leave H2U and travel to Gainesville to see the amazing CyberKnife. CyberKnife is a noninvasive procedure that delivers a lightweight radiation dosage via a multi-jointed robotic arm guided by an image guidance system that is similar to those used for cruise missile guidance. Because the CyberKnife is non-invasive, it offers new hope for treating tumors previously diagnosed as inoperable or untreatable by offering a treatment with no incisions, no blood, no anesthesia and no recovery time.
