2008-09 Drake Women’s Tennis Accomplishments • Registered seven consecutive victories from March 21-April 11. • Began the Missouri Valley Conference season with four straights wins. • Turned in a 6-1 home record at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center. • Posted Drake’s highest conference finish under head coach Urska Juric, finished tied for third at 5-3. • Four players registered at least 15 singles victories, led by freshmen Jessica Aguilera and Gabriela Demos with 20 wins each.

• Six players posted double-figure doubles triumphs led by 17 from senior Veronika Leszayova. • Leszayova named to the MVC All-Select team. • Leszayova and fellow senior Kari Sloboth honored as first team All-MVC Scholar-Athlete team selections. • Leszayova chosen as MVC Player of the Week (March 31).
