Prep: Versatile athlete who earned 2008 special mention Iowa Class 4A all-state honors as outside hitter by Iowa Girls Coaches Association....earned Class 4A AllDistrict honors as senior at Waukee, while leading team to 15-4 record....named 2009 Iowa Gatorade Girls Track and Field Athlete of Year after helping Waukee earn the school’s first girls Class 4A state title...won 2009 Class 4A 200 and ran on state championship 4x100 and 4x200 relays with 4x100 setting Iowa all-time best in 48.15 seconds...also named the 2009 Drake Relays outstanding high school girls performer after running anchor leg on 4x400 relay which set a meet record and Iowa all-time best of 3:50.21. She also ran legs on Waukee’s winning 400 and sprint medley relays, while placing sixth in the 100.
