Describing the upcoming performance, Wright exclaimed “We are ambassadors of love and our intention is to bring light and inspiration to the Maidstone. We’ll cover the whole gamut musically. Chantal has taken Harlem kids under her wing and formed an amazing group that is constantly traveling around the world for various performances.” Cannon added that Wright’s organization has been a driving force in “helping build opportunities for the young people involved, which is in alignment with what the Bridgehampton Child Care Center strives to do.” Co-Chairing this year’s benefit are Dan Rattiner, founder and editor of Dan’s Papers, and Kayce Freed Jennings, who was married to the late ABC News anchor Peter Jennings— a generous supporter of the Bridgehampton Child Care Center. The Center has been an indispensable force in helping lower income and growing migrant populations on the East End for over 60 years. The charitable organization offers after-school programs, low cost summer camp, and youth programs, as well as adult development services such as ESL, and HeadStart for preschoolers from Montauk to Westhampton. This is a very special opportunity to help support a worthy cause, while enjoying a 45minute performance by a world-renowned gospel group.
