Race Your Way into Summer Family Fitness

M

ake it a goal to foster family fitness this summer. Long Island hosts a number of races throughout the season, with the most prevalent being the 5K (3.1 miles). Area races provide the perfect opportunity to indulge in a burst of summer exercise. Funds raised benefit admirable charities, and many races offer discounted fees or shorter fun runs for younger kids.
