UMB Mandatory Reporting Requirements If a UMB administrator, or faculty or staff member, receives an oral or written complaint of sex-based discrimination or sexual harassment/violence involving UMB faculty, staff, or a student or a UMB affiliate, that person has an affirmative responsibility to promptly inform the AVP, (410) 706-1850. The AVP will respond to the report in accordance to the guidelines and procedures as stated in this policy.

However, the campus encourages an alleged victim to report a sexual assault to the campus-based initial contacts as provided under VI-1.20(A) UMB Policy on Sex-Based Discrimination of Employees and VI-1.20(B) UMB Policy on Sex-Based Discrimination of Students:
