A powerful way Jewish people used in retaining their history, as well as using oratory to build their own faith. Dramatist Meyers studied idiosyncrasies and mannerisms in Jerusalem which he employs in his characterization of the Biblical text. DowntownCambridge.com October October 3-5: The Paul Bunyan Show Guernsey County Fairgrounds Show attendees will see more than 130 exhibits representing all facets of the forest industry throughout North America. Representatives will be on site to showcase equipment, manpower, and the dedication that has made the industry what it is today. Lumberjack entertainment and competitions will take place throughout the weekend as well as numerous educational sessions on topics ranging from logging equipment safety and maintenance to how to grow chestnuts or identify trees. Visitors to the show will not want to leave without trying and an official Bunyan burger, a 14 oz. Angus burger with all the trimmings. Friday and Saturday 8 am to 5 pm and Sunday 9 am to 3 pm. Contact: 740435-3335 or www.deerassic.com October 25: Fall Festival and Trail of Treats Deerassic Park Education Center The annual Fall Festival (noon – 5:00) focuses on outdoor activities, games, and crafts. Hayrides to visit the deer and go fishing. 5:00 p.m. is the line-up for the costume contest, and the Trail of Treats starts at 5:30 with local businesses passing out goodies on our kid-friendly trail geared for those under age 14.
