With a fear that you might be subject to homophobia many feel excluded from taking up sport and makes many LGBT sports professionals feel unable to be open about their identity and sexuality. Here in Bristol we are proud to boast many LGBT teams from Badminton to Zumba! If you’re interested in meeting the teams and trying your hand with some sport, some basic fitness training or just enjoy a picnic and networking chance then come join us for this relaxed and sociable event. For those keen on a Pride Ride, Cycle Out have arranged a trip which starts from Queens Square at 10am and will end at St Andrew’s Park where they will join us for afternoon tea & cakes! Pride Sports Day will start from midday in St Andrew’s Park. With Bristol Bisons RFC, Bristol Panthers FC and other local teams on hand there will be fitness sessions, touch rugby and beat the goalie contest. Changing facilities are available onsite and in nearby Bubalu fitness cafe where there will also be a social afterwards. Spectators, novices and picnickers welcome
