AssuredNano® promotes good current OEHS practice in the rapidly evolving field of nanotechnology. It is comprehensive both in its scope and its applicability. Following the merger of AssuredNano® and Nano Risk Assessment Inc., a global force has been established to tackle all issues relating to the occupational hygiene, toxicology and environmental impact of nanomaterial and nano-enabled products.
OEHS exists throughout a supply chain and hence AssuredNano® strongly encourages successfully accredited organisations to promote the value of accreditation to their suppliers and customers in order to assure their in-bound and out-bound processes.
HOW DOES ASSUREDNANO® ACCREDITATION WORK? Accreditation may be on a business unit or plant basis, whichever is the more applicable. However, multiple businesses on a single site require multiple accreditations. Once prepared, the organisation is audited to the AssuredNano® standard and, if successful, is presented with its AssuredNano® Accreditation Certificate, valid for one year before re-audit falls due.
