Dirigentes coinciden en que la Copa Panamericana Masculina será de alto nivel CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, México, Agosto 18 2013.- Los dirigentes de los equipos que tomarán parte en la VIII Copa Panamericana de Voleibol Superior Masculino compartieron sus expectativas en torno al evento que inicia este lunes. Todos los dirigentes coincidieron en que será un evento con un muy alto nivel de competencia luego de su presentación al cierre de la Reunión Técnica General este domingo. Alejandro Grossi (Argentina): “Es una competencia muy prestigiosa. Algunos de los integrantes de este equipo son jóvenes y pretendemos que puedan adquirir experiencia de alto nivel”. Roberley Leonaldo (Brasil): “Será muy interesante para nosotros por que traemos algunos jugadores del equipo principal y algunos jóvenes de categoría sub 23 que se están preparando para el mundial que tendremos en Brasil”. Osiel Vázquez (República Dominicana): “Hace un año ganamos la medalla de bronce. Nuestra meta es revalidar ese el pódium y nuevamente contender en el repechaje para la Liga Mundial”. Sergio Hernández (México): “Nos sentimos honrados por albergar esta competencia. Es una gran responsabilidad. Tenemos jugadores con experiencia probada y esperamos que puedan ayudar para el clasificatorio a la Liga Mundial.” David Alemán (Puerto Rico): “Tenemos la tarea de entrenar a un equipo masculino, renovado, con jugadores nuevos y algunos veteranos. Llevamos siete meses entrenando. Esperamos un buen rendimiento en esta Copa Panamericana”. Gideon Dickson (Trinidad y Tobago): “Estamos muy agradecidos por la oportunidad de participar en este torneo, una competencia con muy altos estándares. Tomaremos cada juego como venga”. Coaches agree on Men’s Pan Am Cup High competition level MEXICO CITY, Mexico, August 18, 2013.- Coaches of the teams that will take part at the VIII Senior Men’s Pan American Cup showed their expectations about the tournament that begins on Monday. All of them agreed that this will be a high level competition after being presented at the General Technical Meeting on Sunday. Alejandro Grossi (Argentina): “The Senior Pan American Cup is a very prestigious tournament. Some of our players are very young and we pretend that they can achieve a higher experience.” Roberley Leonaldo (Brazil): “It is a very interesting competition. We have some players of the main team but also some guys of the U23 category and hope it can be helpful for the Age Group World Championship we will hold in Brazil”. Osiel Vázquez (Dominican Republic): “One year ago we won a bronze medal. Our goal is to get back on the podium and get the chance to contend at the World League qualification tournament again.” Sergio Hernandez (Mexico): “We are very honored to host this competition. It is a great responsibility. We have some players with proved experience and we expect they can contribute to reach the World League qualifier.” David Alemán (Puerto Rico): “I have a new task with the male team, with new players and some veterans.
