Register for Classes Online and On-Campus
How to Register for Credit Classes 1. Your Viking must have a complete Admission File and have been admitted into the College. See the “How to Enroll” section on page 8. 2. Prepare your Viking for Registration in advance so that they can register without difficulty. 3. Your Viking may log in to WebDMC (see following page) and register once the registration period has started. They may also register in person on the East or West Campus when campus registration is open. 4. Pay your bill by the payment deadline to keep your classes. 5. Review information on the After Your Viking Registers section.
Online Registration - WebDMC Online Registration is available to students who meet ALL admission requirements. Registration takes place on WebDMC, the online internet portal for students. If your Viking has 24 credit hours or more, they are not required to be advised before registering. Otherwise, they must be advised before they will be able to register on the Web. Web registration is accessible from the Online Student Computer Assisted Resources (OSCAR) stations on the first and second floors of the Harvin Student Center (East Campus) and in the Barth Learning Resources Center (West Campus). www.delmar.edu/registration
Advising
Register in Person: On-Campus and In-Office
Academic advising is important. It is available to all who wish to talk about course prerequisites, graduation requirements, career opportunities and suggestions for doing well in class.
In-Office: Register on the campus that houses your Viking’s major, this will be where an advisor is located. Call first to make an appointment to see your Viking’s advisor.
Advising is required prior to online registration if your Viking has earned 24 credits or fewer. If they have more than 24 credits, they are still encouraged to meet with an advisor.
On-Campus: Your Viking can register on either campus, but if they need access to their advisor or department, it’s best to register on the campus where their major is housed. Registration (but not advising) is also available at the Northwest Center in Callallen.
If your Viking is undecided about their major, contact the Student Outreach and Enrollment Office - (361) 698-1290 on the East Campus, or (361) 698-1741 on the West Campus.
