AUGMENTED BASE TECHNOLOGY 1 PIECE A.B.T. One-piece ABT, on our I-Rock reverse-camber boards, is a one-piece silicone insert placed directly in the center of the board. This creates a smoother and easier ride with less chance of catching your edge.

It also creates a dampening system to absorb chatter in the crud.

2 PIECE A.B.T. Two-piece ABT is designed for a powder-specific board featured on the Darwin. The two silicone inserts are positioned towards the tail of the board. This eases the pressure on your back leg by eliminating the vibrations and chatter associated when riding at high speeds in powder or heavier spring-like snow conditions.
