On March 11th 2011, Mne Hobson passed for duty with 115 Troop. The transitional year leading up to that day took him from a boy to a man and from a ‘civvie’ to a Marine. Driven by a personal need to make sense of his new life within the military and the future that he is being trained for; ‘H-Hour’ is a photographic study of the areas within which 40 Commando are currently training for their deployment to Afghanistan in September 2012.
