Cubicle Centre ready for BIM BIM isn’t on its way — it’s already here.

The Government Construction Strategy is now a year old and we acknowledge the stringent demands that this places on the industry. Thanks to recent investment in excess of £10K, Cubicle Centre Ltd is BIM capable and ready to go!

What is BIM?

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its lifecycle. BIM involves representing a design as objects that carry their geometry, relations and attributes. For more information regarding BIM please visit:

www.washroomcubicles.co.uk

Why BIM?

In June 2011 the UK Government published its Construction Strategy detailing: Government will require fully collaborative 3D BIM (with all projects and asset information, documentation and data being electronic) as a minimum by 2016. This mandate looks to address the need for efficiency and industry reform and realise a ‘cost reduction of 20% during the term of the current parliament’.

BIM Components

Cubicle Centre now boast a complete library of BIM components available for download. BIM content includes toilet cubicles, wall panel systems and vanity units created for Cubicle Centre Ltd by Bimstore.co.uk. Their Autodesk Certified professionals have checked the Cubicle Centre BIM content and all components are ready for use in real project environments. Cubicle Centre BIM components are data-rich, highlight unique features such as FSC® certification, and contain parametric features that help specifiers design within the limits of the system. The result is a quicker specification process combined with correct product details throughout the whole project cycle. For more information regarding BIM please contact us:
