Offering another option for post office plan survey In reference to the Dec. 7, 2012 letter of the Assistant Postplan Coordinator addressed to “Dear Customer,” they listed four alternative options of which I only have the privilege of choosing one. “Section 4 requests comments.” As both Winkelman and Hayden Post Offices are small and low cost, managed by a minimal staff of very

dedicated professional and very loyal people that do an excellent and efficient job, I suggest you eliminate all four of your suggested options and add a fifth option. Option 5 should read: Do nothing, leave the low cost, high efficiency postal operation alone and focus all cost cutting and reductions on the over-staffed and wasteful Washington D.C.

Postal Headquarters. Send your efficiency experts and auditors out to make a study as to why such a few loyal and dedicated employees in old, low cost buildings can do so much with so little and provide a good service with happy customers. Therefore, I choose to mark Option 5! If you need further assistance, please check with UPS or FEDEX, who have

Appreciating a Christmas kindness Jake: Thank you for the gifts for my grand-kids. They were the only gifts they got, because I haven’t worked in three months and I didn’t have money. Also, I couldn’t wrap presents

or fix my tree and decorate my house. Patsy and Sam came and did that for me. Alex and Heidi came and took me to Tucson for three days, to spend Christmas with them. Again, the boys

and Alex say thank you, “to a very nice guy.” God bless you. Love for you, from all of us. Happy New Year from your friend, /s/ Frances Aranda
