Real Estate Retirement Communities Although it is known as a college town, Conway also draws many retirees, perhaps because it offers them such amenities as topnotch health care and a variety of cultural, recreational, and educational opportunities. Housing options are available for retirees, including single-family homes, age-restricted residential communities, and retirement complexes. College Square Retirement Community is owned and operated by the University of Central Arkansas. An active retirement complex, it offers a choice of studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments on a monthly basis. Utilities, except for telephone, are included in the rent. The complex also offers three meals daily and brunch on Sunday, weekly housekeeping, laundry, and complimentary scheduled transportation. Other amenities include a beautiful rooftop garden, computer center, library, beauty and barber shop, exercise facility, and multimedia room. There are also many planned activities for the socially minded.
