Westermark Group IVA, obv. die V.XXIX; SNG France –; SNG von Aulock –; SNG Copenhagen –; Meydancikkale –; CNG 91, lot 244 (same obv. die). Near EF, toned, a few surface flaws. Extremely rare transitional issue with shield and ethnic on right, Westermark records only six examples, all in museum collections (ANS, Berlin, Firenze, London, Munich, and Vienna). ($3000)
