ISAAC CORDAL Isaac Cordal is represented by Harlan Levey Projects. (www.hl-projects.com) Isaac Cordal (Spain, 1974) studied Fine Art at the University of Vigo and earned an MA in Digital Arts at the Camberwell University of Arts in London. He currently lives and works in Brussels. This May, Isaac's work will be presented at the Bozar in Brussels as part of the Canvas Collectie selection. Isaac will have his first solo exhibition at Harlan Levey Projects gallery in October 2012. Between March 31st and September 30th, his work can be viewed as part of the Beaufort Triennial. For this exhibition, he created a work titled ‘Waiting for Climate Change’ that includes photography, ephemeral installations and hundreds of cynical, yet humorous, concrete sculptures. This work belongs to one of his broader projects: “Cement Eclipses: Small Interventions in the Big City”. http://isaac.alg-a.org/

THE BEAUFORT TRIENNIAL This year, the Beaufort Triennial is back and returns with the same caliber of leading contemporary artists that put the Flemish coast on the world art map. Beaufort has efficiently created an enormous space for contemporary art in the public landscape and produced a series of work along the coast that would interest any museum collection. The first three editions included artists like Wim Delvoye, John Baldessari, Al Wei Wei and Anthony Gormley and this year doesnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t disappoint. Artists including Arne Quinze, Jaume Plensa, Erwin Wurm and Isaac Cordal are exhibiting in a series of public and private spaces throughout the Flemish coast. Harlan Levey Projects is pleased to assist Isaac Cordal as part of this project.
