Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers will look to win their fourth straight home contest when they take on the Boston Celtics at Quicken Loans Arena. The Cavs opened the 2010-11 season with a 95-87 victory over the Celtics in their first meeting on Oct. 27. The Cavs outscored the Celtics 27-14 in the fourth quarter, led by Daniel Gibson, who scored 11 of his 16 points in the final period, while dishing out a career-high tying eight assists for the game. J.J. Hickson added 21 points on 8-11 (.727) shooting and six rebounds. Cleveland has won nine out of 10 games at home versus Boston since the 2005-06 season and trails the all-time series 111-68. The Cavaliers are coming off a 92-86 home win over Memphis on Saturday night. Against the Grizzlies, Mo Williams helped the Cavs overcome a 16-point deficit while notching his first double-double of the season with 25 points and a season-high 12 assists. On Wednesday night, Williams hit the game-winning shot as time expired to defeat Milwaukee 83-81. The Cavaliers starting point guard has been hot over his last three games, averaging 23.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 32.3 minutes per game. Since 2008-09, the Cavs are 26-1 (.963) at home when Williams scores at least 20 points.

The Celtics, who are tied for the Eastern Conference’s best record at 12-4, lead the league in field goal percentage with .504 shooting, including .407 shooting from beyond the arc. The team also has the best mark in sharing the ball with 26.3 assists per game and is led by Rajon Rondo, who is the NBA’s leading assist man at 14.2 per game. Together, the Cavs and Celtics have 11 players averaging double figures in scoring and will meet one more time this season on Jan. 25 at the TD Garden in Boston.
