S.C. State • Clemson’s 83-38 win over S.C. State featured several statistical anomalies • S.C. State’s .185 shooting % (10-54) was the lowest by a visitor in Clemson WBB history, and 3rd-worst regardless of site • The +32 rebounding margin is tied for ninth-best in school history. Oddly enough, it is 12 years and 364 days from the last time that the Lady Tigers had a +32 rebound margin on November 14, 1998 • Clemson’s 38 points allowed were the fewest since 2009, when Clemson held Presbyterian to 35 • The Lady Tigers recorded 29 assists in the game. That is the most assists since November 26, 2005 when Clemson also tallied 29 assists against Memphis. • Clemson recorded 60 rebounds in the game. Ironically, that is the most rebounds in a game since Clemson’s game against SC State last season when they recorded exactly 60 rebounds then too. Clemson Falls to In-State Rival, 65-48 • Nikki Dixon led the Tigers with 14 points, her third straight game in double figures • Quinyotta Pettaway was a rebound shy of her first career double-double, going for 11 pts, 9 reb. • Clemson was only able to force 12 SC turnovers, while the Gamecocks outscored Clemson 20-6 off miscues • Lindsey Mason had season highs in points (9) rebounds (8), and blocks (5) Lady Tigers Run Past Davidson for Win • The Clemson women’s basketball team got the 2011-12 season underway with a 7262 win over Davidson on Nov. 11. • The Lady Tigers outscored the Wildcats 24-0 on the fast break and forced 26 turnovers on their way to the season-opening win. • Freshmen and sophomores combined for 62 of the team’s 72 points • Clemson held Davidson to a 37.7 percent
