With more than 300 student-run organizations on campus ranging from community service and professional to sports and social organizations, you’re sure to find one you’re interested in. We offer programs and events that showcase the many cultures, customs and celebrations that are part of this Clemson family. Our campus services like housing and parking ensure you have what you need to live and play on campus. Our recreation facilities are top-notch. Major Our entertainment groups bring a variety of shows to campus each year. And our student governments make sure you have a voice. So don’t sit on the sidelines. Campus Recreation The Department of Campus Recreation strives to provide quality recreation experiences to the students, faculty, and staff of Clemson University through its programs and facilities. These experiences afford the diverse campus community opportunities to interact while participating in a wide variety of instructional and competitive activities that promote the development of the mind and body.

The Department of Campus Recreation strives for excellence in providing outstanding facilities, programs and services, to serve thousands of students, faculty, staff, community members and guests. Fike Recreation Center houses state of the art facilities. Some of those facilities are an indoor walk/jog/run track; the Swann Fitness Center; a natatorium featuring a 25-yard pool; a climbing wall and many other opportunities for students, employees and the Clemson community. CLEMSONLiVE CLEMSONLiVE is Clemson’s studentrun entertainment programming board, which plans a variety of FREE campus events throughout the year. These events include movies in McKissick Theatre, ice-skating on the amphitheater, dances, athletic tournaments, philanthropic endeavors, live comedy shows, festivals, Moonlight Breakfasts in the dining hall, and MUCH MORE! As a part of Clemson’s Big Six Student Organizations, CLEMSONLiVE receives funding from the Student Activity Fee, meaning we have a responsibility to the students to put on the best entertainment possible. This is accomplished through seven committees, each led by a director,

Clubs & Student Organizations Clemson University understands the importance of involvement and encourages its students to find opportunities to meet and interact with each other in a variety of ways. Research on the benefits of student organization membership suggests that actively involved students perform better academically, are more satisfied with their college experience and are more likely to graduate. Student organizations will provide a medium for academic discourse, personal growth, leadership development, intercultural understanding, community service and lasting friendships.
