Petunia This grandiflora landscape series blooms from spring until first hard frost. Explorer is excellent as a landscape ground cover due to its trailing habit and it performs well in all regions of the country. Thick flower petals are weather tolerant. • Spreading and cascading type of petunia, particularly suitable as a ground cover for landscapers • Its spreading and cascading habit can easily cover an area of 90 cm (3 feet) • Tremendous flower power • Early to flower in the spring and continues to flower even under the short days of autumn • Flower size is approximately 5-7.5 cm (2-3 inches) in diameter • Flower petals have a shiny iridescent waxy texture, which repels water • Recovers very quickly after a rain storm
