Furman University and Wofford College made the magazine’s annual ranking of private universities for their academics and affordability. Wofford was ranked 32nd among private liberal arts schools, while Furman ranked 74th. Kiplinger’s rankings, which will be published in the issue that hits newsstands next week, measure things such as student admission rates, test scores of incoming freshmen, student-to-faculty member ratio and graduation rates.
