At the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre this weekend you’ll see a great variety of exhibitors from all over southern Ontario, displaying everything you need for your home or vacation property. This Official Show Guide has been produced in partnership with our exhibitors and with The Sun Times and Sun Media. A Community Partnership Success Story! The Home & Cottage Expo is the product of a very successful partnership between three diverse yet compatible organizations: the Grey Bruce Home Builders & Trades Association, who started the Home Expo event in the 1990s, the Knights of Columbus of Owen Sound who previously had their own trade show, and the City of Owen Sound. Since 1998 these three partners have
collaborated to produce an annual home show that has grown to become the largest in midwestern Ontario. Not only does Home & Cottage Expo generate business for its exhibitors, the show also benefits the community through its community partners. Here are just a few programs which the partners have supported with the proceeds from the show:
Grey Bruce Home Builders & Trades Association: •
Association members rebuilt the historic Queen’s Park Band Stand in Owen Sound, donating expertise and time

Financial supporter of the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP)

Provide annual bursaries to local high schools to encourage excellence in trades
