Shallow Water Aerobics Ages: 12 Years - Adults
A complete workout using water as resistance to firm, tone and increase cardio-respiratory endurance. Participants should be comfortable in 3 to 4 feet of water. Ability to swim is not required. Pre-registration is required. Designed to help swimmers improve fitness and/or train for specific goals, and offer support for a healthy lifestyle through friendship and camaraderie. We want you to feel welcome, whether you’re a long-time competitor or a beginner. Workouts are coached and are designed to meet different fitness levels. All participants must complete a USA Masters registration form and pay the yearly dues of $40. Monthly fees can now be paid online at swim.cityoftemecula.org. Class designed for adults who desire swim instruction. All skill levels will be accommodated from basics to stroke technique. This is a non-instructional program for individuals who want to swim for fitness or therapeutic purposes. A lifeguard will be present at all times. Program subject to change upon participation level. Deep Water Aerobics Ages: 12 Years - Adults
A non-impact workout in deep water wearing a belt that creates “neutral buoyancy” allowing you to work muscles against water’s resistance, resulting in increased strength, flexibility and muscular endurance. Participants should be comfortable in deep water wearing a belt. Bring your own belt or purchase from the instructor. Class is ongoing so join any time. Optional $25 fee for belt. Scuba Diving Lessons Ages: 12 Years - Adults
Discover the fun and excitement of SCUBA diving. Scuba Center Temecula instructors, with over 47 years of combined experience, are ready to teach you to explore our underwater world and certify you in as little as 3 weeks. Classes consist of classroom, pool instruction and ocean dives. Ocean dives are conducted on Catalina Island and La Jolla Shores. Participants must provide own mask, snorkel, boots, fins and gloves and be able to swim. NOTE: Contact Scuba Center Temecula at 506-0252 for class schedule and to obtain materials that are needed prior to first class. Materials fee of $265 also must be paid prior to the class. (Fee subject to change).
