Join this non-physical self-defense class and learn assertiveness techniques to help you increase your sense of personal power and safety from sexual assault, harassment and bullying. We will address very serious issues in a playful, interactive workshop that profoundly increases personal safety. This workshop is designed for girls and women, ages 11+ and perfect for mothers and daughters to take together. Make your best pie ever! Join pastry chef Laurie in a fun and educational pie making class. Take the challenge out of pie crust with a little knowledge, a few handling instructions and quality ingredients. Learn to make tender, flaky, flavorful crust and add seasonal fruit. You will make a brandied apple pie to take home and sample sweet potato pie and cranberry pecan pie. For every season, pie is the answer! Artisan Bread Baking

Ciabatta is a go-to hearth bread when baking at home. It’s easy to get a nearartisan bakery result with your own oven with a little knowledge and some simple techniques. Ciabatta is a traditional bread with a substantial crust and a full flavor due to a starter that is made the day before. You will see and handle the bread in all stages from starter to freshly baked in this hands on class. All supplies included.

European Holiday Cookies

Everyone loves to make fancy cookies at the holidays. In this class. explore a variety of holiday treats from European countries. We will make Amaretti from Italy, Kipferl (vanilla crescents) from Germany and Thumbprints (Polish tea cakes) from Poland. You will leave class with a collection of cookies as well as plenty of knowledge to create them at home. All supplies included. Puppy Manners Foundation

This class is for puppies from 10 weeks to 6 months old at the start of class. Behavior issues such as jumping up, mouthing, excessive barking and getting in your space will be addressed. Topics include socialization, crate and potty training, body handling and grooming. Puppies should be vaccinated according to your veterinarian and the AVMA guidelines. Beginning Obedience

This class is for dogs older than 6 months at the start of class. Learn how to provide leadership for your dog while teaching your dog to sit, stay down and come.
