THE CITADEL Purpose...
Fundamentals of Baseball with Fred Jordan
The goals of this camp are to teach the proper techniques and fundamentals that are needed to develop a ballplayer to his highest level of skill.
Housing and Meals... Activities will include: Radar Timed Throws Home Run Contest Defensive Drills Baserunning Techniques Hitting Drills RiverDogs Game (Most Sessions) Bunting Techniques Game Situations The most important aspect of the camp will be the mental approach to winning baseball and the game of life.
Medical Provisions... A baseball trainer will be available at all times as will doctors, nurses and The Citadel Infirmary.
Insurance... Insurance includes accident and medical during camp (in coordination with personal insurance).
Practices... Practices will take place on The Citadel campus. We will utilize batting machines and cages. Session 1 will take place at The Porter-Gaud School. We will utilize batting machines, cages and The Citadel’s indoor batting facility.
