AS A FRESHMAN • 2011-12 Received the team’s Green and Gold Award for contributions to the program on and off the court…appeared in 16 games off the bench, averaging 0.7 points and 0.1 rebounds per game…scored the first points of her collegiate career with a second-half jumper and made free throw against Portland State (11/20)...knocked down a three-pointer and added three assists in loss to Washington State (12/29)…drained a second three-pointer at USC (01/19). HIGH SCHOOL A 2011 graduate of Liberty High School in Las Vegas, Nev…played four years of both basketball and volleyball for the Patriots…on the basketball court for head coach Quintin Lester, was named the 2011 Gatorade Nevada Girls Basketball Player of the Year after averaging 16.1 points, 3.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game as a senior…was also named 2011 first team all-state… in 2011 led Liberty to the Class 4A state title game, and was named Southeast League Most Valuable Player…scored 16 points – including 14 in the second half - along with nine rebounds and four assists as Liberty overcame a five-point deficit in the Patriots’ 58-53 victory over Bishop Gorman during the state semifinals…scored 16 points in Liberty’s 71-65 overtime loss to Centennial in the state title game…was a four-time all-Southeast League first team selection…as a junior in 2010 was named second team all-state after the Patriots finished the year with a 25-5 record and won the program’s first Sunrise Region title…scored 28 points with seven rebounds and four assists in the title game as Liberty downed Green Valley HS, 83-65…was a two-time Liberty HS MVP in 2009 and 2010…on the volleyball court as a setter and left-side hitter, was chosen as the club’s MVP for three consecutive seasons (2008, 2009, 2010)…was a two-time Southeast Sunrise Division honorable mention selection (2008 and 2010) and in 2009 was named second team all-league. CLUB Played six years for Las Vegas Elite…received the Coaches Award in 2011… scored 20 points in the championship game of the Las Vegas Memorial Tournament guiding her club to the title…teammates who went on to play collegiate basketball include; Aaryn Ellenberg (Oklahoma), Jeanette Jackson (Prairie View A&M), Natalie Lainhart (Idaho), Amber Lane (Cal State San Bernardino), Jade Washington (Arizona Western). PERSONAL Born in Manila…parents are Bill Bryant and Katherine Delgado-Bryant…has three brothers; Joshua, Nathan, and Andre…major is undeclared…was the sports editor at her high school newspaper, The Tribune, and as a senior in 2011 won several newspaper awards from the Las Vegas Review-Journal: second place for Best Sports Page Design, third place for Best Sports Photo and third place for Best Photo Illustration...as a junior in 2010 took first place winning the Best Sports Photo.
