AS A FRESHMAN • 2011-2012 Appeared in 15 games off the bench, averaging 1.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game…scored 2 points and grabbed seven rebounds off the bench in a 102-93 victory over Cal Poly (11/13)...matched her total of a season-high seven rebounds in an 88-73 win over Weber State (11/24)…scored a seasonhigh four points shooting 2-for-2 from the floor in UO’s 79-75 win over Cal State Northridge (12/19). HIGH SCHOOL A 2011 graduate of Longmont High School in Longmont, Colo…played four seasons at center for head coach Jay Darien…was a two time all-4A Northern Conference selection and two-time Longmont Times Call all-area selection in 2010 and 2011…also was named to the Denver Post All-State First Team following her junior season, and received second team all-state honors following her senior campaign…left the Trojans having scored 1,157 points during her four-year career…also recorded two triple-doubles…as a senior in 2011 averaged a double-double scoring 15.2 points and 13.0 rebounds as well as 4.5 blocks per game, leading Longmont to a 26-2 overall record and league title with a 13-1 mark…in the quarterfinals of the state championship tournament, scored 23 points, added 20 rebounds and tallied five blocks in a victory over Roosevelt HS…the Trojans reached the state title game for the second year in a row before falling in overtime to Broomfield HS for the second year…as a junior led the 4A Northern Conference with 108 blocked shots (3.8 bpg), and nearly averaged a double-double for the Trojans scoring 13.1 points while grabbing 9.0 rebounds per game, and shooting 64.4 percent from the floor…the Trojans finished the 2009-10 season with a 24-4 record and were ranked 12th in the state of Colorado according to MaxPreps.com, after finishing second in the league standings…was also named second team all-region by the Boulder Daily Camera in 2010. CLUB Played three years for Colorado Flight and head coach Dan Doehler in Lochbuie, Colo.…was the starting center for the club when it won the 2010 Nike Grand Oasis tournament…in 2009 was the club’s MVP…also in July of 2009, scored 27 points in a single game at the Miss Basketball tournament, and tied for the single-game record with 13 field goals made…teammates also playing collegiately include; Taylor Durant (Bethel College), Alison Gorrell (Wyoming), Taylor Helbig (Colorado School of Mines), Jamie Katuna (San Francisco), Katie Nehf (Colorado State-Pueblo), Brooke Podtburg (St. Olaf College) and Dallas Rohrbaugh (Mesa State). PERSONAL Parents are Greg and Kris Carpenter…has one sister, Jen…majoring in biology.
