Housman from “To an Athlete Dying Young” In the memory of Marco Sheppard, the Chattanooga football program will present “The Marco Sheppard Mr. Hustle Award” annually. This award will be given to the Mocs football player who displays the hustle, the leadership skills and the desire to be the best – the same characteristics that set Marco apart from anyone else. The initial Mr. Hustle Award was presented in 1998 by former head coach Buddy Green to Marco’s mother, Mabel, and Marco’s alma mater, Dekalb High School, in Atlanta, Ga.
