ProTube™ Perfect protection and unrestrained freedom of movement are a must for any goalkeeper. However, just make one flying dive – and your arm pad is no longer where it should be. DuraGuard™ A goalkeeper’s outfit must be extremely rugged. Only the best material is just about good enough here. With the DuraGuard™ technology Reusch relys on a super-rugged material which has also found its way e.g. into motorcycle clothing: Kevlar. What can endure asphalt on the road, should also be first choice for the penalty area. In those pants, overalls, shorts and shirts by Reusch featuring the DuraGuard™ technology, the pads are covered with Kevlar. The outcome is extreme durability.
Silicontrol™ Good grip is not only an important factor in gloves. Especially when pressed against the chest, balls with a high rotation may still escape the goalkeeper due to their spin. In order to extend the goalkeeper’s grip from the gloves to his upper body, Reusch has developed special goalie shirts with Silicontrol™ technology: A non-slip silicon print on the chest reduces the danger of slipping and makes hard shots or fast-spinning balls more controllable and easier to catch. Furthermore, the additional grip looks definitely cool.
Moisture Management System / Advanced MMS ProGuard™ Elbows, Thigh And Knees are one of the most vulnerable body zones. When playing all out and concentrating solely on the ball, goalkeepers have to put up with rough landings or collisions with other players. Here a material with good shock absorbing qualities is required. With the ProGuard™ Reusch has developed a new pad which offers even better damping qualities than conventional foam. The dual-layer construction featuring a dimensionally stable shell with a soft inside pad is anatomically pre-shaped, lightweight and extremely rugged. Just the right thing for no-compromise goalies!
During the match the goalkeeper experiences a constant change between stress and relief. Not only does sweaty clothing spoil his well-being, but also raises the danger of getting hurt.
