Objetivos: Volver a trazar las expediciones históricas de los primeros exploradores en Aysén, desde Simpson en 1870 a través de Grosse en 1940 y Shipton en 1960.
Objectives: Retrace the historic expeditions of early explorers in Aysén from Simpson in 1870 through Grosse in the 1940s and Shipton in the 1960s.
Descripción: Los viajes se realizan combinando caminata, navegación y cabalgatas, con el fin de seguir las rutas que los primeros exploradores describieron a través de mapas, fotografías, relatos y videos. Así podremos comprobar la evolución de los paisajes y el impacto humano en el tiempo que de otra forma es muy difícil conocer.
Description: Each trip is different – some predominantly by foot, others by horseback and some by boat or a combination of all three. Each program seeks the routes followed by early explorers that were described through photography, documents, films and writing. This will enable us to compare conditions, evolution of the landscape and human impact over time that we would otherwise be unaware of.
