Pamela Bolgar Harvey has been happily married for 40 years to Henry, with whom she was stationed in Japan with while he served in the Air Force. Pamela was a local model and the couple had their first and only child, son Cameron. “It was an experience,” writes Pamela. “Henry began metal sculpting and soon we were making more from the sculpting at the Japanese bazaars than Henry being a pilot.” Henry and Pamela later opened a gallery in Tucson, Ariz. After a decade in Tucson, the family moved to New Hope, Pa., where they opened two galleries, and created a massive, avant garde website: harveygallery.com. 1980 Since becoming the subject of a profile in the last issue of Alumni News, Miriam Santowasso Cash has reconnected with old classmates and even made some new Centenary friends! The article prompted both Meganne Kenny Cusato and Perla Van Chama Rotemberg to reach out to Miriam. Meganne owns Summit Paralegal Services located in West Chester, Pa. Perla credits her being hired on the spot at a job fair for a position with Irving Trust on Wall Street to her Business degree from Centenary. Perla later earned a master’s degree from Seton Hall University and has a 21-year-old daughter following in mom's business footsteps. Perla resides in Metuchen, N.J., and has a career she loves with Merck Pharmaceuticals. Pat Ruvane, Julie Kaas Williams and Jennifer Brown all reconnected with Miriam through Facebook. Pat (the vice president of Sigma Epsilon Pi when Miriam was president) returned to Pennsylvania after many years in Durham, N.C. Julie lives in Annandale, N.J., with her family and is attending Centenary College as an evening student. She works with autistic children and is earning a Special Education Certificate. Jennifer is employed with the Lackland Group (company founder David Lackland and his wife Carol Burgess Lackland ’54 made the lead gift to establish the Lackland Center at Centenary) and resides in Middlesex, N.J. Miriam and Janine Martins are constantly in touch, but busy lives are making it hard for them to meet up as often as they would like. Janine’s daughter, Jessica, was recently accepted to Lehigh University. Janine says that Facebook has helped tremendously when it comes to reconnecting with old classmates, she even created a group named “Alumnae of Centenary College when it was CCW.” She is hoping that this note will help draw more alumni into the group!
