Principal’s Report : This will be the last newsletter for the Term. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents/ carers who have supported the school over the length of this term. Without the support of so many parents/carers, we would not be able to run the many quality programs and extra activities that we do. Whether it is help in reading groups, in the canteen, with sports groups, preparing children for events etc your help and assistance is highly valued and appreciated. Long may it continue! I hope that everyone has a very rewarding and relaxing Easter break and return to school on Tuesday, 29th April ready for a very short and busy term. Thank you to Louse Dale, Trish Dun, Amylee Knight, Tamatha Olbourne, Kristie Felton and Susan Callaghan for the extraordinary work that they have done not only over last year but in many preceding years. Some of the equipment that we have been able to purchase courtesy of the P&C include: Interactive Whiteboards for each classroom, library books, sports equipment, landscaping, subsidising events, class equipment and much, much more. Currently, we still have two positions to be filled, namely that of Secretary and also Publicity Officer. At the next meeting, these positions need to be filled. If you feel able to do either of these roles you would be warmly welcomed. Also, you would receive great assistance from our new executive as well as our outgoing executive. If you require any information about what these jobs entail please contact me. The role as a member of the P&C is a very rewarding one as it not only assists our children but also the whole school community.
