CCCU CABINET CHANGES Rick Ostrander Named Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professional Programs A SCHOLAR OF American religion and
an academic administrator respected throughout the CCCU, Dr. Rick Ostrander was appointed vice president for academic affairs and professional programs, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in Christian higher education. He previously served as provost of Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan; prior to that, he served as dean of undergraduate studies and associate professor of history at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. In his new role, Ostrander oversees the CCCU’s BestSemester program as well as the CCCU's professional development and scholarship programs.

higher education, the CCCU formed a new government and external relations department, naming Shapri D. LoMaglio as vice president for government and external relations. LoMaglio will continue to lead the CCCU’s government relations efforts on behalf of its members and will also bring the areas that have an external focus, such as media and strategic partnerships, into one cohesive group. LoMaglio was previously the CCCU's vice president for government relations and executive programs. ADVANCE | FALL 2015
