In the game with Volunteer, the Patriots registered three players in double figures with Jonathan King putting in 17, Matthew Proffitt scoring 13, and Jordan Jackson adding 11. In the consolation game with South which was a coincidental rematch of a nonconference game the night before, East saw four players reach double figures including Colton Chaffin with 14, Jordan James with 13, Austin Gragg with 12, and Proffitt adding 10.

Patriots Come Up Short in Arby’s Play

By Mark Proffitt December 29, 2010 – Sullivan East completed play in the 2010 Arby’s Classic with losses to both Mill Creek from Georgia and local Kingsport team Dobyns Bennett. The Hawks from Mill Creek topped the Patriots by a score of 54-31, while the Indians won over East by a score of 56-39. . In East’s opening game of the tournament, the Patriots struggled offensively against Mill Creek’s high pressure half court defense, falling behind 2-14 in the first period, and later 11-34 by halftime.
