B U Y S ID E SA LE S Between 2012 and 2013 the average basic salary and bonus of respondents working in the Buy Side Sales Sector has increased (3% and 8% respectively), with the majority of candidates witnessing an increase in basic salary (45%) and no change in their bonus (40%). Germany boasts the highest average basic salary, whilst with a 43% increase on last year the UK received the largest bonuses in 2013. When compared to other sectors across Financial Services, the Buy Side Sales Sector had the highest percentage of respondents that believed receiving a bonus improves performance (87%), with the majority of respondents also thinking that their current remuneration package is fair given current market conditions (46%).
