Bennington was top scoring stallion at the Canadian National Warmblood inspection tour held at Beaulieu Farms (Quebec) in October 2011. He scored 9/10 for gallop, 9/10 for jumping technique and an overall score of 7.81. In 2011, as a 4 year old, he successfully competed in the hunter divisions. In 2012, he will be competing in the 5 year old Jump Canada young horse series. His final test jump is posted on YouTube under ‘Bennington Stallion Test’. Interestingly, the 2013 National Tour Champion mare was also by Cardento. 19 mares participated in the long format Mare Inspection held in conjunction with the Stallion Licensing Tour; 14 of the 19 mares scored 7.0 or above, with 4 mares scoring 7.5 or greater. This is the largest participation in the long format to date. MJ Zapala was second place mare for owner Gillian Orr; Breeder: MJ Farms, Mara & Jennette Coote. Owners who presented their mares to the long format mare inspection are to be congratulated for their support of the Inspection process, and their belief in the system of performance testing breeding stock.
