The plaster will be set up within about 45 minutes, but it will take longer for it to be usable. Mix several recipes with a variety of colors, and let the whole batch cure for a few days.

Unmold the chalk, and draw up a masterpiece!
Variations:
Make a few different colors,
and alternate pouring them in the molds for multi-color chalk. Mix the tempera paint in after you pour the chalk in the mold for a marbled look. Buy a candle mold, and make a fun shape. Use cookie cutter letters as molds for a party favor!
