The Easter weekend a great success – 13 people went to “The End of the Line” house on the shore of Lake Moogerah. The house was an old Queenslander and had plenty of room and was well equipped. There was a great verandah at the front overlooking the dam. Although the weather wasn’t the best, the scheduled walks were done. Unfortunately, we had a storm on the night of the Blood Moon so we didn’t see it. Teddy Watson was a bit out of control but he too had a good weekend. The house has been re-booked for Easter 2016

Walk Reports Las Nieves a Tenteniguada I attached a few photos from my first walk here in Canary Island. It was 12 km and pretty steep up and down. The name is Las Nieves a Tenteniguada. From the top I saw all the way to the Island Tenerife and Mt Teide. The Island is very beautiful and small with lots of mountains. But where ever you are it’s surrounded by sea. The roads are narrow and winding. It is like day and night from Australian bush. I hope to explore many more places and find a group like the bushwalkers I found in Australia. Regina Rosin
