Telex Schuiten augmente la réalité
FR Le week-end dernier, l’auteur de bandes dessinées bruxellois François Schuiten a présenté un scoop au Festival d’Angoulême : son nouveau projet La Douce sera la toute première B.D. en « réalité augmentée ». L’album parle d’un vieux machiniste qui a fait le tour du monde avec sa locomotive à vapeur, La Douce, et qui constate à regret que sa machine bienaimée doit faire place au train électrique. Schuiten, dont la passion pour les trains est bien connue, a conçu La Douce sur un modèle existant des années 30, la 12.004. Avec cet album, il veut donner une seconde vie à ce vieux train et faire vivre au lecteur un véritable voyage sur les rails. « Celui qui ouvre l’album et le tient devant sa webcam verra la locomotive prendre vie comme une sorte de pop-up virtuel », promet-il. EN There are five weeks to go before, on 7 March, the starting shot will be fired in Cinema Nova for the fifth edition of the Offscreen Film Festival, the big annual Brussels event that celebrates everything independent, offbeat, or cult in the world of cinema. The main programme this year is entitled “Home Sweet Home” and presents a selection of thirty haunted-house and home-invasion films that skilfully undermine the idea of the house as a safe haven. The Italian veteran Umberto Lenzi (80) will be along to introduce some gems from his giallo and polizieschi oeuvre, including the notorious Paranoia. There will be opportunities for deeper reflection at a conference on cult film and opportunities to let yourself go at the B-Movie Orchestra’s concert.
