Tom Hyland ’95 certainly meets the definition of a peregrinator, or traveler: A decade ago, he dropped everything to ride the rails of the Eastern World, spending most of his time in remote villages located well off the beaten path.

Tom Hyland ’95 is working to bring the strength of capital markets to some of the poorest corners of the globe, recasting venture capitalism to provide such basic services as education and health care.
