Numerous stećak necropolises have been preserved on the localities of Mećava and Ćehaja. The most important historical monument in these areas is the medieval town of Srebrenik, whose well preserved walls are still very interesting for the archaeologists and historians. Inside the walls of the Old town, since 1977 the annual cultural festival Srebrenik has been held – the open town of the arts.
