REAL-WORLD KNOWLEDGE You and your classmates complete each course together in a prescribed sequence. This cohort-based model creates a learning community enhanced by the diverse perspectives and experiences of its students. You’ll join a small

The first year elevates your business acumen to top levels.

During the first year, you establish a strong foundation of business skills to build upon in the second year. You become familiar with key elements of business, how these concepts play out in organizations, and you will learn new tools to provide context for today’s business envrionment. Your journey begins with the Leadership Residency — a weeklong introduction to leadership theory and practice where you get to know your cohort and start working in teams.

The second-year curriculum focuses on the complex business and leadership challenges you face as a top leader.

The curriculum in the second year focuses on the formulation and application of strategy. You’ll leverage the business acumen from year one while applying new frameworks to think more broadly about your organization, your industry and your unique contribution as a leader. The Innovation Residency sets the tone for year two. In this residency, you work with corporate executives on a live case-study to explore new markets, products or business strategies for an organization.

Your second year ends with the Global Residency, where you will explore complex inter-relationships and impact of political, economic, social, cultural and technological factors combined with the challenges of strategy and execution in global and multi-national companies. You’ll have the opportunitiy to test your knowledge and how to apply it during this 10-day international residency.

LEARN FROM THE BEST In and out of the classroom, our Executive MBA faculty combine their real-world expertise with the latest innovations in business to teach frameworks for thinking and operating at the executive level. Each faculty member has been selected based on the value that they bring to the classroom through their academic accomplishments and business experience. Many remain engaged with today’s business environment through participation in private corporate consulting and non-degree, educational programs. Our distinguished faculty are led by an experienced academic director who integrates relevant, challenging coursework and develops faculty standards and teaching practices that support executive learning. The academic director is dedicated to delivering a thoughtful, high-quality curriculum to achieve the student learning and development goals of the program. Finally, our Executive Director oversees the complete Executive MBA experience to ensure optimum student satisfaction and sustained engagement of alumni, sponsors and community partners beyond the classroom.

EXECUTIVE COACHING

Winner of Elmer F. Pierson Good Teaching Award for three consecutive years

Throughout the program, you will work with a dedicated Executive Coach to focus on your leadership development. The Executive Coach helps you identify your strengths as a leader and your opportunities for growth, then works with you on strategies for leveraging your strengths while improving and managing your leadership challenges. Through individual and group meetings, you will also learn how to enhance your executive presence and improve the relationship skills critical for leading within your organization. 7
